Your Soul Purpose is a Verb not a Noun
Years ago, as a teen and young adult, I searched and explored for the right place, the right spiritual space for me. From covens to temples of various paths and religions-yet nothing seem to fit.
One day in meditation I heard,” Gather them.”
And so I invited two friends to come and circle in 1999. The month after more came. Several hundred have traveled through the circles I co-created with a dear friend. Over 12 years of gathering folks monthly for free, for clearing and supporting our voices and our healing…all from the simple directive!
In 2012, as I worked with a coach for the first time, I had to turn away from this and focus on growing my business. Yet I recognize today-that I never left it.
My first time online 2013, I started with a 4 week online program, then a 9 month mastery, in 2014 until now- my 8 week intuition program and the latest, my 7 month awakened soul biz program. This is only the online space.
I create sacred circle for the Bella Abzug Young Women’s Leadership Institute every summer for 6 years. We sit and listen to each young woman, up to 65 one year as they stepped up and were seen, heard and supported.
In the last 5 weeks of the Awakened Soul Biz I’ve witnessed sacred supportive community rise.
Women being seen and heard. women sharing their dreams, tears and laughter. Women empowering each other. Each in their own way and at their own pace- making strides and daring to share their voices, their soul gifts and their soul businesses!
In the last 2 weeks with Intuitive Leverage, my 8 week intuition bootcamp I’ve heard two women and one man say they weren’t very intuitive or that they were “blocked” then during the exercises literally nailing it- perfectly!
From seeing the words “YOU ARE LOVED” and the person she read had just received a drawing from his child saying,” YOU ARE LOVED” in their own hand-writing, to another woman completely picking up the location someone else lived in and an important action and country they were still remembering.
Neither of these people knew exactly what they were getting when they receive it. They spoke up in this safe space and the person they read said,” wow, you got it.”
I realized today, that I am still gathering them and that in doing so, I gather myself. I know every session, every class, everything I share serves others and it serves my own alignment, my own flow.
Please remember that when you hold back your magic, when you hold back your ability to BE who you are in this world- you also do not allow these experiences to unfold in your life and your “dream” of “someday” doing this or that- is just that, a “dream.”
Who wants to just have dreams? Let’s live them! Explore! Explore!
When I heard, “ gather them,” I was scared and I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do. I questioned,” who am I to do this?” the “who the hell do I think I am story,” was prevalent for me because I had actually heard that when I expressed my vision or my dreams..F it. I am ME. Nothing more, nothing less and I am just going to be what and who I am, inviting others to be here as themselves. As a solitary I just shared my way and invited people to be themselves.
You can keep asking, “ What is my soul purpose? What am I mean to do?” and your guides and Higher Self will tell you the same thing over and over.
Your Soul Purpose is not a noun my people, your soul purpose, like love is a verb. It’s understood in the living, breathing, being and doing of it. Stop searching and start living it!
You think their advice is too simple. You might think what you receive is not “important enough.”
We have blown up this idea of your passion and following your bliss to it meaning making millions and talking in front thousands…it might be, it could be…if you don’t begin somewhere though, how will you get there?
So listen and do what your Soul is inviting you into.
For me it was a simple, “Gather them” that set me on a boundless and exciting adventure that I am still on! What is your Soul’s invitation?
